AndyLL
Man it must of took them a long time to ask all those millions of people. The good Sunday hold shows that many of them went Sunday instead. Such a silly poll, the fight doesn't explain why Fridays number was lower than the first films Friday minus previews. Its the kind of article a fanboy would write. Variety did not do the survey... they hired it out. I assume C4-R&D used standard polling practices which makes you comment about 'millions' being asked moot. I assume there is more detail behind the study but unless Variety decides to release it then all we have is confirmation that the fight affected AOU but we still don't know how much. #ED
So, just as an interesting tidbit, if TA2 fell 11% from TA1's gross, that'd be $554m. Those tidbits...

If they only gross that amount DOM from TA2 Disney might be forced to release some TV editors to pay their bills.
iceroll
Uh what's up with Cinderella's Sunday gross? It fell 61%, did they take some of that and move it to TA2's weekend number?

I was being sarcastic when i said the millions bit. They surveyed 600 people or something, it says in the article.
cookie
Uh what's up with Cinderella's Sunday gross? It fell 61%, did they take some of that and move it to TA2's weekend number? Considering how much it went up from estimates I almost suspect the opposite. Edited May 4, 2015 by C00k13
