tarantino666
Kudos to Paramount for releasing this excellent movie. You haven't even seen it. Anyone calling this "excellent" should probably have an exorcism performed on them. Trust me, when you see how this movie ends, words you've never even seen before will pop into your head before the word "excellent" does.
kyky
when you see how this movie ends, words you've never even seen before will pop into your head before the word "excellent" does.Maybe that's Paramount's strategy. The ending is so BAD it needs to be SEEN to be believed Edited January 7, 2012 by kyky
rb02
To be fair, I judged that on the first couple of pages. I looked at the rest of the reviews, and it gets better. But what could explain that horrid RT score?
fishstick
For some reason, IMDB has not tabulated the average viewer review score. To gain further perspective, I began to inspect the actual reader reviews. The majority of reviews blast the movie and give it one star. The majority of the rest rate it between two and four- on a 10 point scale. This is obvious rubbish. The good news? If an obvious turd can become a suprise hit, that may bode well for 2012.TDI is NOT a turd. See for yourself.

rb02
TDI is NOT a turd. See for yourself.I will but not at the theater. And I will make sure to be well into a 12 pack before I put the DVD in.

Ball Lightning
It's going to have decent legs as people will want to see the horrible ending, and it's the talk of the town. The Dark Alfred
I always wondered what would happen if once a studio would release a film with two different endings. Imagine The Devil Inside A and The Devil Inside B. 1000 theatres each.

Gopher
15m would be higher than any single daily for a movie in December. Insane. Is this going to be a crazy January, like in 2009? If so, I'd like to see Haywire and The Grey break out.
