But it's different times now.  You'll be able to watch JW at home in about a week.

Actually I could pull it up on my iphone 5 right now if I really wanted to. And I woulnt even need wifi to watch it.

In terms of my feeling towards the movie, I would not enjoy it as much without Williams' music.

Funnily enough my absolute most defining memory of all the JP franchise is the satellite phone ringtone from JP3.

Jurassic World has garnered an $82 million dollar opening day and is on track for a weekend haul of $181-$200 million. If Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is 'box office viagra', can we start calling Chris Pratt 'box office cialis'?

And Avatar only made $700 million because of weekends with a 90% 3D share at 3D's peak..

 

Not hitting $700 million is not a blight against JW.

 

 

Not saying it is a blight against it not to reach a phenomenon like the original...quite the opposite actually.

I can't believe people would actually watch a movie on an iPhone screen.

Me either. I only do it when its late and I want to watch a movie in my bed, but dont want the big, bright ipad screen im my face.

iPhone 5? Time to upgrade. :P

Your iPad doesn't have brightness control? ;)

Apples version of minimum brightness is my version of moderate brightness. I have to invert my colors quite alot and change those whites to blacks. Its annoying.

Eh, that's grossly overestimating Pratt's role in the success of the film. He was important, but the first two films broke the OW record and the third would have at least come within a couple million had it opened on a Friday.

 

People are acting like a Uwe Boll film just opened to $200 million.
