CoolioD1
Honestly, the contenders this year look weak to me. My personal choices would be Adrein Brody in Midnight in Paris (meh on that movie overall but he's brilliant in one scene) Ralph Fiennes in Potter, Yūsuke Iseya in 13 Assassins, Ezra Miller in We Need To Talk About Kevin and Mark Strong in Tinker Tailor.Man, some of my favorites usually get in but none of those guys even have a slight chance this year. fishstick
I hope Hill gets in. I think that Mortensen has a good chance since he`s playing Freud.Brooks and Plummer are locked, though.

Noctis
The three movie critics from The New York Times chose their Oscar nominees. Two of them, including A. O. Scott, chose Alan Rickman as Best Supporting Actor.Yayerz.

Ezen Baklattan
Adrein Brody in Midnight in ParisIf anyone would have been nominated in that movie, it should have been Corey Stoll.

Impact
Wow, a year without a frontrunner for supporting actor? Who would of thought?
RichWS
I know it's tough to call him a front-runner, but I think Plummer is pretty close to being.

CoolioD1
It's so weird that Jonah Hill is an Oscar nominee. I personally wouldn't have nominated him, but good for him anyway.
