My guess

 

1. Star Wars Episode VII: $820 million (go big or go home lol) 
2. Jurassic World: $700 million 
3. Inside Out: $475 million 
4. Avengers - Age of Ultron: $455 million 
5. Mockingjay Part 2: $445 million 
6. Minions: $420 million 
7. Furious 7: $350 million
8. Spectre: $315 million 
9. The Good Dinosaur: $290 million 
10. Pixels: $240 million 
11. Ted 2: $225 million 
12. Mission Impossible 5: $205 million 
13. Cinderella: $200 million 
14. Pitch Perfect 2: $190 million 
15. Ant-Man: $185 million 

If I bumped Ant-Man for American Sniper, the total gross would be even more ridiculous   wouldn't be shocked if the total increased over 2014's by over 30%... last year was truly awful.

I'm playing conservative and going with 575M for SW. Not quite 600 yet. Nowhere near Avatar lol.

820M?!?!? Okay I love SW but that's just crazy talk.

So is:

JW doing $650 million+ DOM (but it's happening)

IO doing $325 million+ DOM (but it's happening) 

 

If there's any franchise that could defy crazy talk, it's Star Wars. If it's a great continuation of the franchise, $700 million+ DOM should happen. Especially if Christmas and New Year's keep its 2nd and 3rd weekends above $80 million DOM. 

 

2015 has been crazy in general (Sniper, Furious 7, JW, IO, soon to be Minions and Pixels IMO), so this is the year for Star Wars to do record-breaking numbers. 2016/2017 won't be as ridiculously huge as 2015, sadly..
