RandomCat
As long as they don't just try to tell a story from one the games. Plenty of space for stories of Nate running around being a dumbass over his head murdering bunches of people.
Hermia
IMO Uncharted is one of the few videogames that can actually become a good movie. I hope they will not screw this up. Nathan Drake is a great character to lead a story. They could also try to have a smaller budget, so it can actually become successful. UTJeff
People think it can be a movie because the games have a cinematic style and characters. But what happens when you take out all the gaming and interactive elements. Are people even still going to be interested?

Arlborn
Huh, I thought Assassin's Creed flopping would make them hesitate on this one.
NoobSaibot
Joe Carnahan’s ‘Uncharted’ Script Is R-Rated with the “Craziest Action Sequences” Ever http://collider.com/uncharted-r-rating-joe-carnahan Hopefully its R-rating is in line with the tone of the games. But it sounds really hopeful after reading that article.
RandomCat
Gods no. Uncharted isn't an R movie. Don't make it R. What is wrong with these people??

This should just be a fun, PG-13 summer blockbuster.
RandomCat
This is what Deadpool has wrought. Unnecessary R ratings.
That One Girl
Hey, dumbasses, in case you can't read: RATED T FOR TEEN.
John Marston
R? LOL fools don't realize what game they are adapting. Or they might just assume it was an extremely violent and inappropriate game like a lot of others.
RandomCat
Can't wait for these people to completely fuck up one of the easiest games to adapt to film. Edited February 23, 2017 by RandomJC
CJohn
The one game that didn't need a R rating...
RandomCat
Read the interview with the guy. He pretty much proves he doesn't know Drake or Indy. Quote Don’t forget, for that first game after that pirate attack, Drake and Sully leave Elena behind, they dump her. Indiana Jones would never do something like that. Indiana let Marian stay captured so he could get the arc!
Jake Gittes
I've been hearing about this fucking thing since at least 2010 when DOR and Wahlberg were totally going to do it. I don't know whether to laugh or be irrationally angry at the fact that they still haven't put it together.

What hope I had is gone.

Both were developed by Naughty Dog too, so I got confused. I was actually excited. So now, I'm mildly embarrassed and peeved to boot. RobinHood26
You guys are all tripping out. The movie is not going to be R. He wrote his first pass, he wrote it the way it should be he said (lots of writers in first pass don't think about rating they just write first) They will 100% scale it back and fit in the pg13 mold. Yandereprime101189
Lol, yeah, no way Sony of all people is going to make this R rated. They need a hit now and this could potentially be one.
Arlborn
I've never played this game, not even seen anything about it beyond pictures so I have a silly question: Is it supposed to be an Indiana clone of sorts?
