I really liked Steve Jobs but it isn't even to close to being in the same orbit as The Social Network, at least IMO.

Huh...I found The Social Network to be just as fascinating as it was aggravating. It was an engrossing experience, but one I'd rather not live through again. Pretty much every character in the film was utterly unlikable, especially Zuckerburg.

Congrats to Jem and Kasbah for not even opening in the top ten. Even more impressive is Steve Jobs: who could have predicted 7th place despite every other wide opener flopping?

Honestly, I guess I haven't paid any attention to it's run at all, because the number that impressed me the most there is Hotel Transylvania 2. Holy crap, that sucker is going to wind up with 170-180 million. (Probably more like 170 I suppose, as business will die after Halloween and when Peanuts hits.)

What is happening with movies free falling from his early estimates. Ghost Dimension was supposed to have a 6-7M OD and now it will have an OW of 7.8M? WTF.

That's what happens when sites like Variety release 'their own' very early estimates just to be the first to report.

We need our Gods back to provide the numbers. December 18th will be one crazy day ha ha.

The first numbers will definitely point towards a 150M OD because everyone wants to have that precious click.

It's one of my favorites of all time. Probably the wittiest drama ever made.

By the way, Deadline is saying $69K for Suffragette's entire opening weekend, which would be a PTA around $17K. A nonstarter, it seems.
