WB's 2015 has been just as bad as Sony's, if not worse considering all of the mega bombs they've had (nothing in Sony's line-up was all that pricy).

Best Bond by the way was The World is Not Enough. It just doesn't get any better than Denise Richards as a scientist!

WB has better years ahead with DC, Lego, Fantastic Beasts, Kong/Godzilla, and Nolan.

Not enough to compete toe to toe with Disney but better than the kids table (Sony, Paramount, Fox).

Favorite Bond movies:

Goldfinger

Thunderball

Spy Who Loved Me

Moonraker

For Your Eyes Only

Living Daylights

Goldeneye

Tomorrow Never Dies

Casino Royal

Skyfall

Seems spread pretty evenly among the different Bond actors. Who's your favorite Bond?

MGM and EON would never sell Bond, I imagine if Barbara and Michael wanted to sell EON, we'd be looking at a $4-5bn pricetag similar to what Disney paid for Marvel and Lucasfilm.

I think Bond would be fine under WB although I wonder if we'll see Bond in the summer, it's been 25 years since Bond has a summer slot and with WB scheduling Fantastic Beasts and JL in November for the next 5 years, I wonder if they would consider it.

No way is Bond worth whole of Lucasfilm...

But is Bond really worth 4-5 billion?

At least with Marvel/SW/Pixar you can release movies annually and sell countless toys.

Personally, I think Bond probably is worth less than Lucasfilm, Marvel or Pixar but still around  the $1bn mark.

Yeah, how is candy crush worth more than Star Wars, Marvel or Pixar?

The in game purchases add up to a significant amount of money, the Candy Crush concept has been copied by other companies like Disney with their own puzzle games with in game purchases

Well it was for the entire company not just Candy Crush. Freemium games make tons of money pretty much constantly. Although Lucas clearly gave Disney a discount. Lucasfilm is easily worth double what Disney paid.

Bond would sell for $2-3b I think.

I think Sony can offer close to $2B for outright rights and be fine...that much is fairly easy loan based on cash flow of Sony empire...

Again it depends on how much Sony Japan trusts Sony entertainment aka america...

Personally as a shareholder, I so wish they would split Sony films off...

Arguably, Marvel and Lucasfilm were undervalued at their sale. Possibly Pixar, too.

Marvel definitely.

Disney probably made their investment back already and they have movies and TV planned through 2028.
