Goldeneye is one of those rare Bond films that has a great ending that lives up to it's great beginning.

How is this possible?  How have you missed the year in year out Thanksgiving and Christmas Bondathons on Tv?  How have you not seen at least half a dozen Bonds just via osmosis?

The Roger Moore movies are fun and had great set pieces and stunts.

 

People forget this but the Bond movies were always famous for their stunts.

It has nothing to do with quality. Quality and box office are 100% unrelated, whether domestic or international.
