IMHO, #7 is close to be locked. It could challenge CA2, but it will be hard.

I too think it's possible, but we do not know e.g. how much Fantastic Beast will influence Dr. Strange's ww and who knows, see the US election, in some regions people may behave atypical for the time in year, also I am not up-to-date  about local movies that might also impact the BO in some countries ....

I prefer to stay cautios and be happy with the more it might manage than the other way around.

I always thought that the mighty trio of Fantastic Beasts, Moana and Rogue One would invade this list, but now Doctor Strange is definitely in the mix as well. Cracking 700 mil, yes, maybe even 800.

It's unlikely but maybe. $600M is the floor and $750M is the ceiling, depending on how it holds against Beasts, it could make $800M

It could be a regional / custom thing. But when here some says 'in the area of $500m' it is understood as ~ $500m +/- a not considerable amount.

 

It's maybe like 'best actor' English speaking persons understand it as 'best in acting' Italian speaking persons (who also have the term) might mean the actor as a person, him/her being a very nice person.

Dude, it's at 377. That's not including the 6.2 million it made yesterday, and around 42 million it'll make this weekend. Not including international markets around 425 million.

 

It'll be at around 450-470 million with international markets included in. It's blowing by 500 million.

There is a huge difference between "in the area of 500m -> Near 500m)" and "the higher end of 500m -> 575-599m"

 

The latter is much more realistic than the former.

 

And as FilmBuff say it will pass 500m very easily, and 600m is pretty certain to be passed.

I said it'd make somewhere in between $600M-$750M, $800M is very unlikely with both Beasts and Moana, but if it has good holds despite both films, $800M could happen, but it won't likely most. I see this ending with $650M to $700M.
