The Dark Alfred
If I will be still around this time next year, we can look back at my glorious, one year in advance predictions for the 85th Oscar. Here's my top 10 for 2013: 1. The Master - winner 2. Lincoln 3. Untitled Weinstein Company spoon-fed Oscar baby food film 4. Argo 5. The Dark Knight Rises 6. Django Unchained 7. Life of Pi 8. The Hobbit 9. Gravity 10. Moonrise Kingdom

The Dark Alfred
I think the Untitled Weinstein Company already has Django Unchained and the Master No, those would do well without Weinsteins. There will be another film that they'll pick up at a festival.

Though, after Cars 2 and early WOM on Brave, I do have some fears, but, hey, it's Pixar, you never know what they will pull off.
AniNate
I thought it was funny how they aired that Brave TV spot right after the Best Animated Feature category. It was like Pixar saying "Yeah, we know we effed up this year, but we'll be back!"

RichWS
No, those would do well without Weinsteins. There will be another film that they'll pick up at a festival.I don't know why they would if they have those. Isn't The Master basically their pickup? Dementeleus
Gangster Squad?! Sorry, I don't buy that at all.... not right now anyway.I also have my doubts about TH1 (regardless of quality or reviews); I think there's a very real chance that the Academy will have the sentiment that they've already rewarded Jackson and the genre quite enough, especially since it's "just" a Part 1. fishstick
As long as Anna Karenina bombs in every way, especially The Jaw. Has anyone seen pics from the movie? Same fuckin facial expression on all of them. Tight jaw and a pout. She`s aged a lot too.
rb02
Tsk, tsk, Fishnets. I am not the biggest Keightly fan, but you have Joe Wright, Saorshe Ronan, a movie set in Tsarist Russia. How cool is all of that! Now, as far as the thread goes, it's about time we got some love for Wrath of the Titans. Why not, those trailers look cool as hell! MovieMan89
Django Unchained.I'd bet money that they'd never honor a Tarantino flick with more than a nom for BP/director. At least not until he's very very old.

rb02
It's pretty obvious that Snow White and the Huntsman is going to be a Best Picture quality movie; the question is whether the voters will set aside their biases and give it the nomination that it is obviously going to deserve. rb02
BTW, I was joking about Wrath of the titans being a contender, but I am NOT joking about this one!
