I knew you'd be against that category lol. Cinderella's costume design works perfectly for its type of movie, and it really does look lovely. Mad Max is a close second personally, but Cinderella's costumes are actually important to the narrative and fit perfectly IMO.

Exactly. They just pick a couple of bad popular films and shit on everyone involved. In a perfect world, Aloha should have won like every award, plus a brand new Worst Foreign Language Film cos of that scene with the subtitles.

It just clicked for me. I've been accused by a couple of friends of overhyping it, which might be true in my case. Afterwards they basically said, "It was good but I don't get why you lost your mind over it."

Costume design is one of the more interesting categories this year, Mad Max is the favorite but Cinderella & Carol wouldn't be shockers honestly.
