He isn't always in JL from the start though. The new 52 for sure doesn't use him in the first few arcs.

I have choice words for New 52 JL. And he's more a core member than Cyborg.

I was happy with U Deadpool DOM, but now I have a new dream: U Guardians DOM... Is that asking too much?

GotG a reality. Dream bigger or smaller in this case. TF1 or even under

Lets stay inside reality here. Lower than IM2 is impossible. Lower than GotG? Now that would be funny and it is possible

JL starts shooting next Monday. There is no way of quietly delaying it. It will explode all over the Internet. So WB might as well do some damage control and make a press release about it this week.

I think delaying JL would make it worse really. People who's debating seeing it or the potential repeat viewers might have no reason to go to see BvS if it's direct sequel is no longer a certain project.

Not only possible but it's happening. Agree about IM2 too (for now).

Trivia: IM2's second Monday back in May, 2010, with no 3D and unadjusted: $3.7m.

I think a tiny bit above Shrek the Third.

Getting their Justice League movie in order means a lot more to them than an extra million or two in box office here.

60-66% drops this and next week would make 312m possible. That's not in the realm of impossible. Not likely but possible.

Henry looks pretty cool and has a good start on RT. Could gain some traction

Both new releases have 3000 screens. It could lose a chunk if they have the typical 2 week deal.

Will lose the premium screens to JB. Banking on 66% that weekend.

My money is on under 320m for now.

Depends on how they handle it. They need a turnaround. Something that would make people get confident on the DCCU's future.  Announcing that Ben Affleck is officially directing Batman for the 2018 release date of JL part 2 would easily generate more goodwill than simply going forward as it is. It is not recovering it, it won't grow, but at least it won't vanish.

It potentially won't have a 2.0 multiplier. Good job WB.

Movies that opened to 50M and didn't get a 2x multi:

Fifty Shades

Paranormal Activity 3

Valentine's Day

Watchmen

That's it, that's the whole list
