Huh, I was honestly expecting a below-average Cinemascore from TMNT. Of course, the fact that the people who saw it liked it doesn't help the fact that not many people are seeing it.

I'm not sure why there's such dumb analysis going on here.

 

These movies aren't doing well because no one asked for them and they looked terrible.

 

That's it. I'm glad the audiences are finally responding en masse but none of these sequels were meant to exceed their predecessors. 

 

The question always was how big is the drop going to be and thankfully it is massive for Alice, Neighbours, X-Men and TMNT which all looked awful.

DOFP jumped 89.5% on 1st Friday and 46.5% on Sat.

If APOC is gonna jump 125% on Friday (8m), I would expect a flatter Sat.

But really feel the Friday will end up at 6.75-7m.

Just found out my drive in is showing Zootopia with Finding Dory. Very tempting. Also just found out the other local drive in is showing Allegiant and Criminal this weekend. Out of all the options.
