Is Terminator 2 supposed to be T23D or Genisys 2?

I assume T23D - no one's anticipating Genisys 2!

Having said that, there are probably more anticipating that than Avatar 5, considering Cameron's only going up to 4!

Speaking of Jungle Book, it's quietly had one of the most impressive runs of a blockbuster this decade. Alice level opening and Maleficent level legs, hooboy, Disney must be loving this. I think it'll fall short of a billion, but this is a simply insane run.

Yeah, and Disney's track record of non-sequel live action fairytales is insanely impressive when you look at them all (though Oz isn't as impressive as it should be thanks to that ridiculous budget).

I still think Favreau gets a Star Wars spinoff based on what the JB did.

CONJURING needs to do less than 90m. Bring on the continual 60% drops.

Why The Conjuring 2 has by far been one of the better movies of a really lame summer? If James Wan doesn't come back, I don't want a 3 but I don't think it deserves to be doing badly.

Movies that I'm glad are doing badly are Warcraft, TMNT2, Alice: Through The Looking Glass, X:Men: Apocalypse and Neighbors 2.

Because I need to win some Casino bets. (And sub-90m wouldn't really be that bad for it).

:sadben: What have I done to you? :sadben:

So be honest: Was the Conjuring 2 any good really considering that drop OR were all of you so sick of superhero movies at this point, you'll take just about anything???

It was a good sequel that is overlong and has a few out of place CGI areas.

It's far better then the majority of movies that have come out this summer excluding Civil War.

The Conjuring 2 is already profitable, even it ends up only $250m WW there will be a third film. New Line's summer release have been successful with all three scoring solid grosses and all will be profitable and Universal has the OS rights to CI so they'll be happy as well if it does $80-100m OS

hahaha oh the games

I thought you personally disliked the movie. Quality wise I liked it better then Finding Dory. It stayed mostly true to what it was.

Both lost me in the third act though.

Best movie of the Summer. It will end in my top 10 of the year for sure. Likely top 5.
