I literally didn't see any of them that it didn't look like some sort of joke. I still feel a lot of people suffer from a Drax complex here.

Did you not read the posts from Saturday night?  I didn't even like Suicide Squad, I thought it had a lot of problems. Enjoyable, but a lot of issues. Still, the posts from Saturday (and there were lots of them) were not in jest. The #1 trending topic on this board was "DCEU is dead".

And that was Saturday night in the weekend thread. Today is Tuesday and we are in Tuesday's thread. Do you see any of those posts here? No? Then why make unnecessary comments about enemies that aren't even here?

They should get him for Shazam.

We have "trending topics" here now? What the hell is this, twitter? I didn't see that at all. And I was here on Saturday night, and what surprised me the most was how much the usual "DCEU" fans were gutted and hating the film while me and a few others were defending it. Hell, I love the film and I don't get this persecution complex at all, especially coming from people that look like don't even liked the film. Everything is so freaking weird that I don't even know what to tell you. I'm seeing a lot of people that said that hate the film on the last days or were eerily silent coming forward claiming people were talking about "BAD WOM", when the only "BAD WOM" I remember seeing it came from the very few DC detractors but MOSTLY, from a lot of the usual people that are DCEU hardcore fans around here.

I've been advocating that this film will have great WOM since Thursday, while I've seen you, Napoleon and others hating on the film. And now you attack an imaginary enemy when you were complaining about the film days ago. All of this just screams insanity to me and I don't know what is happening, haha.

Basically it's gonna be safe to ignore every weekday thread for this movie because people are more interested in the Marvel vs DC crap than actually talking about its performance

How many times over the next two weeks are we gonna see people trying to explain that movies in spring behave differently from summer movies?

MODERATION:

Take your Marvel vs DC bullshit to another place. This is a thread to discuss the daily numbers and sure, if you want to compare to Marvel movies you can, but don't use that as an excuse to rag on DC movies (the opposite also applies; everyone can rag on Fantastic Four 2015 tho, fuck that movie). The ban hammer was already dropped today. Don't make it drop again. Don't poison the well.

Bumping this.

Several because people still don't seem to understand that movies in the summer don't perform the same way as others released at different times of the year.

I'm done, I just needed to address the whole "imaginary enemy" thing because it was getting on my nerves. I've dropped the mic already so now back to box office analysis:

This jump is INSANELY good. It's a +9% against a +1.6% jump for Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm actually starting to think it's more probable than not that it'll cross $300m dom, but I don't want to call it before seeing the next weekend numbers. While I adore Suicide Squad, Guardians of the Galaxy is the better film, but I'd LOVE to see Squad going over  Guardians, or at the very least, go above BvS, which would be beautiful. I think we might be looking at $225m+ after the second weekend.  A -26% drop like Guardians for Weds would place Squad in hefty $10m+, which ALSO looks good next to Guardians $8.8m Weds.

I haven't seen ANYONE around here doing that. ANYONE. Not even BKB from all people. Fighting imaginary enemies make you people look insane. And not in a cute Suicide Squad like insane. Just sad insane, just like @Rey's extra. It's doing GREAT, and I'm a supporter of the film. Some people hate it and it's fine. That doesn't mean that they are 'TEH ENEMY SAYING THE WOM IS TOXIC', when no one is saying that. The WOM isn't toxic. Be the cool kind of weird, please.

Huh?
