Winter Game SOTM 1 - Spare a Thought For the Little Guys errrr... Films: Deadline is Thursday October 20th at 11:59pm

Recommended Posts

Here it is: The opening SOTM and it is a callback to one of my more favoured SOTMs of the summer.

Below are 10 films due for release between the start of the game and November 23rd, along with their predicted total grosses according to Boxoffice.com.

1. Boo: A Madea Halloween - $26M

2. Jack Reacher: Never go Back - $62M

3. Ouija 2 - $29M

4. Hacksaw Ridge - $37M

5. Trolls - $92M

6. Almost Christmas - $46M

7. Friend Request - $5M

8. The Edge of Seventeen - $58M

9. Bad Santa 2 - $34M

10. Allied - $68M

All you have to do is predict whether the predictions above are too high, or too low. You can choose to predict for as many or as few films as you wish.

If you wish to go further, you could also choose to wager that a film will make less than half or more than double the above predictions. These predictions have bigger risks and bigger rewards.

Predictions will be scored as follows:

Correct High/Low Prediction - 5000 points

Correct Double/Half Prediction - 12000 points

Incorrect High/Low Prediction - Minus 4000 points

Incorrect Double/Half Prediction - Minus 10000 points

If Every prediction that you choose to make is correct, your total score will be doubled.

There is also the option to abstain from this question. If you state that you Abstain in this Thread, you will receive 2000 points

Any player who does not predict or state abstain in this thread will lose 5000 points

The Deadline is Thursday October 20th at 11:59pm (Game start time)

Enjoy :)
