According to Empire, Arrival did better than expected on Sunday.

Only 0.074M more than the estimate numbers, I was hoping for way more than that, really disappointed and with the B Cinema Score, it will have at better a 40% decline next week. What a waste!!!

Stay positive. The Sunday drop was smaller than expected considering how old it skewed. The opening was bigger than expected considering the soft tracking last week.

Very nice hold, to be sure; third-best Marvel Studios hold ever, behind Thor and Iron Man, I believe. But it gets a tiny asterisk with the Veterans-Day-on-Friday help. ;)
