Amazon Studios and Roadside Atrractions are partnering to distribute Doug Liman’s psychological thriller The Wall for release March 10. That puts it on the same date as Warner Bros’ Kong: Skull Island.

The Wall, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Nocturnal Animals) and John Cena (Trainwreck), follows two soldiers pinned down by an Iraqi sniper, with nothing but a crumbling wall between them. Their fight becomes as much a battle of will and wits as it is of lethally accurate marksmanship.

Written by first-time screenwriter Dwain Worrell, the film was produced by Amazon Studios, Big Indie Pictures and Picrow and by David Bartis. The exec producer is Ray Angelic and the associate producer is Alison Winter. FilmNation is handling international sales.
