But for the moment, Walt Disney's Beauty and the Beast earned another $3 million on Wednesday to bring its 20-day domestic total up to $404.1m. That means it will pass The Hunger Games ($408m in 2D back in 2012) today or tomorrow to become the biggest March domestic grosser of all time, although Zootopia ($1.02 billion) and Alice in Wonderland ($1.025b) are still above it on the worldwide scale. By the by, it made $7.8m overseas to cross the $500m mark in foreign grosses alone, giving it a $910.8m worldwide total.

Peace,

Mike

34.3% drop after 44% Tue bump is good.

Dropped more than 30% on Wednesday.:ohmygod: This means  failure to be able to hold audiences. Legs are collapsing. 500M might not happen. The Disney monster is crashing.

Going to be around $10m behind TDK after Sunday unless it has some incredible jumps during the weekend.

THUR - $3m

FRI - $6.35m (+117%)

SAT - $10.48m (+65%)

SUN - $7.86m (-25%)

The above projection puts BATB at $431.79m after Sunday. TDK was at $441.63m after its 4th weekend. If you look at the daily percentages in the previous two weekends for BATB, the projections above might be too optimistic. I think it will have a tough time going above $520m at the rate it's going. $515m or so seems more likely and that is an awesome number regardless of anything else.

BATB should do 24-25 this weekend for 431-432 cume. 490 seems like a safe bet. It will need to show a couple of sub-40% drops soon for 500+.

The Singalongs this weekend should help it.
