Sellout count for Wonder Woman  a week in advance: 10 sellouts / 196 showtimes. Guessing it ends with close to 400 showtimes if not over.

Current sellout count in SoCal for SMH a week in advance: sellouts / 175 showtimes. Looks to be headed around the same area as Wonder Woman for the finish.

Just did a quick check for SMH and holy shit.....this thing is gonna be huge. Like I mean real huge. It already has quite a few near sell outs for next weekend.

To compare....it's selling similar to how Suicide Squad and GOTG2 sold in the philly area. I wouldn't be shocked one bit if this thing hits $130M right now.

Ill do a more detailed one for you guys early next week.

I have been hearing it is doing around Wonder Woman pre sales numbers.

If that's true, I would be shocked seeing this getting more backloaded than the lady...

Pets showtimes in OC - 175 showtimes. That is big, may be over 4-6M for previews.

DM3 showtimes in OC - 167 showtimes. Should be around Pets in preview numbers.

I think The Beguiled will play like The Master, another specialty release that had a big PTA in its first weekend and went fairly wide in its second weekend. A PTA between $4-5K is the best case scenario, which would be fine for a well-reviewed specialty release with no awards chances.

Good news for Valerian guys: @Water Bottle says that Tele's face was grumpy upon leaving the theater.  Given that we all know how Tele works, this means that if he doesn't like a movie, it'll succeed at the box office!  We're in the clear guys, WE DID IT!

Wait what? They saw it?

Tele has been stanning for Valerian since forever. Be funny if he hated it, guessed that he didn't like it considering he didn't have any comments on WhatsApp.

But you like or stan for it, it means it'll flop. Just look at Monster Trucks.

Look at Baby Driver going above expectations.

Must be good luck for you (finally). But everyone was stanning for BD and you didn't make a BD club.
