Not sure why Nun hype seems to be not picking up significantly. Seems to be on par with where it was a few weeks ago, I'm starting to question anything higher than 40

I never understood the 40+ predix in the first place, so...

Not true.

guessing 0.84 Thursday on Operation Finale.  1.84 2-day total.  the RT audience score dropped 2 points today from 80 to 78.

Thursday preview predictions

0.40 - Kin

0.45 - Searching

Operation Finale down another point on RT audience score... now at 77%

still #2 on MT...

26.6% - Crazy Rich Asians

9.7% - Operation Finale

6.7% - Mission 6

6.6% - The Meg

6.5% - Pooh

Searching out of the top 5, might hinder chances of increasing over 20% from true Friday.

Operation Finale should be good for +40% today and an even hold Sunday for 6.72 3-day, 8.49 4-day

Yes. I wouldn’t read too much into it because the box office is pretty dead outside of CRA, so this could go in any direction. It’s good that it’s showing up now and not Tuesday or Wednesday

It was the middle of the night in the US so it doesn't mean much, very few people are buying tickets.

Yes, but these are the sales for the last hour. Fandangos' top 5 is cumulative.

movietickets.com top 5 sellers

1 - Crazy Rich Asians - 26.7%

2 - Operation Finale - 8.3%

3 - Mission Impossible - 7.4%

4 - The Meg - 7.3%

5 - Christopher Robin - 5.2%

the top 5 % shown adds to 54.9%

The Meg/Mi6 is closing on Operation Finale, but Operation Finale will probably still be in the top 5 next weekend.  It is obviously a high destination seller on MT.  I don't see The Nun moving back on the list until Tuesday.  Peppermint should show up Wednesday and confuse the hell out of forecasters.  God Bless the Broken Road didn't have a Wikipedia page the last time I checked, and it has a very small about of YouTube trailer views so I don't see that one selling much.  Nothing should/could increase today, however War Room had a 0.6% jump Monday September 7, 2015.

I always thought that Fandango pulse was the top 5 movies in terms of tickets sold in the past 24 hours.

The reason why new releases show up over-night is because there are less people buying tickets to the films out at the moment, and thus from a 24 hour period from over-night to -overnight, you're going to have new releases showing up in the top 5. But I could be mistaken and it could be by the hour.

Thought it resets every half hour. Movie Tickets is 24h though.
