Would mean 55-60M on Sunday but that seems a bit too high, no?

Factor 2.5 would mean 64M on Sunday minus a bit worse walk-ups would be again pretty much the same range as above for SC.

With WOM going (internationally) how it is, I fully expect at this point that NWH will do over $60M DOM Sunday. I’m on the hype train 🤣

Once again, I'm unsure if this is new information or not, but 355 and Scream showtimes are populating at some chains, with previews at the usual 7pm on the 6th and 13th, respectively. Assuming ticket sales will begin somewhat soon?

Scream is confirmed for this Friday.

Surely very few, if any, cinema screens have a capacity of more than 1,000.

I assume they mean the entire building. Either way if NWH misses $200M this will be the new theme for the holidays:

I’m guessing this would mean the entire theater has a capacity of over 1k and not just the particular seating in one screen.

But yea if if does mean the latter, it won’t affect anything.

I am unsure really and I live in Ontario

If that the case the theaters have opened up a lot of screens already so there can be a lot of tickets still sold.

This gonna be an issue as a lot of shows are full on Sat and sunday that were opened up early.

Doesn't the 1000 thing only apply to sports venues? I don't see any qualifier on "movie theaters"

So seems Ontario shows will be 50% only from Sat.

Unsure if all tickets sold will be refunded and people have to buy again.

Movie theaters in Ontario likely super pissed.

I think be fine means business be spread out over next 10 days.

Well that’s gonna be a shitshow considering many of the showings are already sold out. How do they choose which 50% get to keep their tickets? Thanos style? Or do they refund all of the tickets and create a mad dash of people trying to re-buy?
