You say that but if anything, Coco will get more marketing as Star Wars and Thor are established properties.

Remember Moana or TGD. Definitely say more Strange and RO (and TFA) commercials on TV and even on kid channels like Nick or Disney XD.

Don't you know massive corporations with huge marketing budgets can only focus on two properties at a time? Why, a third property, that would be ludicrous!

I wouldn't be surprised if all the Trump supporters refused to watch Coco. Coming out in the wrong year. :(

Hopefully Black Panther doesn't suffer.

I had DM3 at 320 dom before release, and have Coco at 170. Considering how wrong I am on DM3, probably Coco will surprise. Nothing would be better than a Pixar original doing good. IO was huge but then TGD was a bomb. Dory was a sequel. COCO doing between Ratatouille (206) and Wall-e (223) would be good enough.

Blaming any movies success or lack of success on Trump supporters is ridiculous ( and I loathe the fact that he's our president as much as the next guy)

Yeah I don't really get the Trump supporters won't watch this movie thing.

it's only a very small section of weirdos who get mad at cartoons like that. like a bunch of people here were hyping up how mad zootopia was gonna make conservatives and that neveeeeer happened.

I think Coco will be good, it doesn't seem be a troubled production unlike TGD.

Even of Trump supporters don't watch a movie there are plenty of people in the country that didn't vote for the man

I think Coco will be good, it doesn't seem be a troubled production unlike TGD.

Yeah, though there is a disconnect between trouble production and quality at times. It can be a smooth production and still be meh (like Brave for me). Cars2 was not a troubled production (I think, not sure) but the end product was crap. And at times troubled production can give good results. But looking at Pixar's track record, Coco not being a troubled production does point to high chances of it being good.

Is labelled as estimates on the main movie page, but looks like the final numbers. Deadline had roughly given 20, 24.3, 19.1 earlier today and these numbers are in line and obviously more detailed.

Brave was troubled as they replaced the original director.
