January is never a good sign for such troubled production.

But Dolittle is higher than TENET in DOM box office

Hope this is good. I read the first book earlier this year and enjoyed it.

This movie is giving me serious "The Turning" vibes.

It's getting a January release and it's probably getting a trailer on October just like The Turning got one by Universal.

I also read some posts from people who claimed to have watched Chaos Walking on screeenings, and they said this is one of the worst movies ever made.

Hopefully the reshoots help it, lol.

If they're releasing it in January how much good could they have possibly done

Not saying that this will be good, but Liman's movies always have a "doom and gloom" scenario being thrown around for them (Edge of Tomorrow, American Made both had people going off about how they will be disasters, either critically or financially or both due to delays or other reasons).

I didn't care for American Made at all but I know I'm generally the minority on that.

Just watched the trailer for this as part of an online test screening for trailers. It was not good. The trailer started with shots of all the characters and then Tom Holland discovers Daisy Ridley who is the first woman to be seen in forever. And there is some weird thing where people can see each other's thoughts which just looks like a blue cloud materializing in front of their head. Then there are random explosions and an alien appears at the end.

Mads Mikkelsen looks good. Nick Jonas looks like Nick Jonas wandered onto set. Tom Holland looks way too young for the role. Daisy Ridley felt weirdly passive in the trailer.

Tom Holland & Daisy Ridley should go indie movie.
