cookie
@CayomMagazine Cookie Pictures has provided a small update on The Legend of Zelda: Secret of the Guardians, which has been reconfirmed for a November Y7 release. The film is currently entering full production and will be produced on a budget of $110 million. Directed by Amulet helmer Travis Knight, the film will employ the same CG stop motion animation style as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse mixed with the celshaded watercolor art of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. An updated cast list based on story changes has also been revealed: Spoiler Spoiler Lily James as Zelda, the eager and science-minded princess of Hyrule. Generally kind, but maybe a bit full of herself. Joe Keery as Link, a kind but self-doubting stablemate who's good with a bow and arrow. Brave when he has to be. Glen Powell as Sidon, the tall and handsome prince of the Zora and Mipha's younger brother. Much less threatening and more of a surfer dude than he appears. Sasha Lane as Mipha, the crown princess of the Zora and Sidon's older sister. She's quiet, reserved and hostile towards outsiders, and often gets into arguments with her brother. Thomasin McKenzie as Mari, an intelligent and lively Shiekah teen, and Link's little sister. Ben Kingsley as King Daphnes, the King of Hyrule and Zelda's austere father. with Jake Gyllenhaal as Taiva, a mysterious individual who holds more than a few secrets. and Idris Elba as Lord Dragmire, a high lord with ulterior motives at odds with both the King and his daughter. Spoiler Spoiler For those wondering, this is what I'm spending the next three weeks on. Edited October 9, 2019 by cookie 2 1

SLAM!
@CayomMagazine New Journey Pictures, upon deciding they wanted a British director for The Croaking of Prince Chrom, have replaced John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein with David Yates (a wide variety of Harry Potter films). The film is currently being cast with a ensemble of actors that is completely UK-based. (I would say all-British cast, but one of the actors I've selected is Welsh.) Edited October 9, 2019 by SLAM! Blankments
Some Talent Shift-up at Blankments Productions for Y7 Simply put, here's what's going on! Raphael Bob-Waksberg and Amy Winfrey have left Sir Thymes Time 2, after concerns that they were making the film a bit too mature for the intended audience. Trish Gum (The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part) will instead be making her feature debut on the project, which is still on track for summer. Dave McCreary, originally attached to The Muppets... Again, has left the project due to commitments with the late Y6 release Guardians of the Internet. Casper Kelly, famous for his work on Too Many Cooks and Mandy, will be taking over for him, with the rest of the creative team in place. Meanwhile, Lily James has left her lead role on the project, citing schedule conflicts with the pushed-back shoots. She may still cameo in the film though, citing her exit to be disappointing, but necessary as so not to overwork herself. She will be replaced with Jessie Buckley (Wild Rose, The Blushing, TV's Chernobyl), who is excited to work alongside Corey Hawkins as human leads to the Muppets shenanigans. The film is aiming for a February release.
YM!
@cayommagazine Infinite Studios green-lights two more films for Y7 After the critical success of The Power of Love and Thirsty, Endless Entertainment’s much struggling sister studio, Infinite Studios has gotten a new and first CEO, Jason R. Eastmond. Eastmond says “Infinite has long suffered under the pretense of bad films and the occasionally good nature documentary but we do plan to work on the quality of our output.” As orders from Irving, who wants more stronger content as well as things breaking away from the Endless model of heroes and animation, Infinite has greenlit three films for Y7. - Underneath The Tree, written and directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids), is a Christmas romantic comedy which tells the tale of Santa’s son and successor attempting to travel to Earth in order to find out that people have lost faith in Santa, winds up to team up with a dashing and cutthroat businesswoman to take down a shipping mogul as they find themselves falling for each other. - Scout’s Honor, while still searching for writers and directors, is said to be a spin-off of Thirsty, focusing on the rather vulgar Girl Scout trio as they find themselves at war with a trio of militant Boy Scout troupe. - Kicks, directed by Spike Lee, is somewhat a satirical drama based on Michael Jordan but in an interesting twist portray the basketball star as a greedy villain focusing on his rise to power Edited October 9, 2019 by YourMother the Edgelord
