Basic problem with the whole Die Hard franchise was that the oriignal film McClain was just an average guy put in a really difficult situation. not some James Bond Hero. The sequels really lost that, making McClain a near super hero just did not work.

Empire City was finally right about something for once, his scoop about bad test-screenings and massive reshoots with Stahelski was essentially confirmed.

What makes it ironic is this ie one of the few times Empire City reported anything negative about a film...he general supports any major studio film that comes along.
