My dad is the type of person that watchs only comedies or super thin on action or plot movies. Aything else and he thinks it either confusing or disturbing.

I remember watching with him Memento and since then he hasnt accepted another movie offer from me ever again.

 

I also started watching Mulholland Drive with my mom but thank god we stopped quickly...

That is one of the worst movies to watch with parents/family member generally.

 

Try The Handmaiden (2016). Much better. For the whole family.
