i miss the vibe of this place circa 2013 when it was a little smaller the fanboys were a little less crazy and the weekend threads would be like 200 pages of casual chat and memes and bullshit. i feel like a relic i'm the only person left in those threads who wants to talk about goofy shit and have fun while everyone else is yelling at each other whether deadpool 2 is a flop or whatever

I just want to send some of these people back to 1997 when Titanic opened (after being delayed from a summer opening) with less than $30M against its then-record $200M budget. Everybody was ready to write that movie off at the time. And then, well, the rest is history.
