There is no catching/finding beasts. The beasts play a smaller role in this film...but you can see from the title itself, fantastic beasts is in very small font compared to crimes of grindelwald. 

 

EDIT: And Redmayne's character takes a backseat in the last 3 films as Dumbledore, Grindelwald, and Credence are supposedly set to take center stage.
