If we're talking about 2017 movies I've seen 38 and will end up around 47/48 by Oscar time. Pretty selective this year. Don't watch much on home videos these are 90% in theaters.

 

Watched a bunch of older movies at home, though.

imo more than 2 movies in a day and it just becomes noise at that point. why i never trust reviews from film critics at festivals who are getting 5 flicks a day. that shit isn't sinking in.

I just went on a huge Letterboxd spree and tried to mark as many films that I've seen as I can.  ended at 407.  not complete.  will be updated later.

I now think Gravity is 100% a 5/5 so my tast has obviously chamged since then
