Finnick
‘Thor’ Rocks On With $10.8M Tuesday; Will Continue To Strike Lightning In Second Weekend With $60M deadline.com/2017/11/thor-ragnarok-great-tuesday-murder-on-the-orient-express-daddys-home-2-weekend-box-office-preview-1202204084/ Thats about 30% up from yesterday. Very good for Thor Ragnarok. Quote Marvel’s son of Odin will continue to own the box office with an estimated $60M in weekend 2, -51%; a three-day take that’s roughly $5M shy from what Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 pulled in during its second frame ($65.2M), and that was during May. It’s just further proof of the power of the off-season at the multiplex when the right movie is on the marquee. Just for future reference, Discount tuesday can be used for either side of the argument depending on your stance and any "holidays" too. YM!
Perfect. Now it’s time to panic when the Wednesday numbers come.
cmbbox2390
That’s fantastic for Ragnarok. I think it’s a guarantee now that this film will cross $300m with the Tues number and projected second weekend. Even with JL on the way, I believe the Thanksgiving holiday will help increase that possibility.

It's Ragnaroking at the box office! 300M is guaranteed and it will continue to be successful. Worldwide it's doing VERY well.

TalismanRing
Thor 3's first Tues is 23.24% of it's OD including previews Dr. Strange's first Tues is 23.5% of it's OD including previews (both Tuesdays were on election day) So pacing right along side Strange other even though Thor's previews were about 50% bigger and it's OW was 44% higher. 10
