Hey... don't blame me.

 

There is a 13 member selection committee that picks the movie that will represent the forums in the the form of a Derby quote.  Every week the committee meets and ranks the movies that in contention to play for the honor of having the Derby Quote.  From our charter:

 

 

Many movies 'deserve' to be considered for this honor.  Certainly... it could be argued that Coco... a movie that actually played last week and did well  'deserved' to be ranked over a movie that did not play.

 

However the committee doesn't pick a movie's quote based on 'deserves'.  We simply want the best movie represented.

In other words... I'm a Star Wars fanboy and TLJ quotes are going to be used until I run out of decent ones.   They do seem to be dark in nature.
