IndustriousAngel
In Germany and Austria "The Dictator" is off to a perfect start, very good numbers and easily winning the weekend. My son saw it yesterday, WOM is excellent and he wants to see it again (and take me along ).My cinema has only 8 screens (still the biggest in town) but The Dictator has 5 Friday evening shows in 3 formats (dubbed, english and english+subtitles) and 8 Saturday shows starting from 4pm. Crazy.

acab
"Overseas, Dictator is doing better business, and should earn $30 million by Sunday from 29 markets." http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/battleship-box-office-dictator-avengers-326753 OS numbers look good. CJohn
Only in 29 markets? That is a very good start.
wood melon
Dictator grossed a pleasing $30.3 million in its international debut over the weekend from 29 territories (only nine were top 20 markets), coming in 26 percent ahead of Borat and 50 percent of both Bridesmaids and The Hangover. Jonwo
SBC will definetly get another film, there was a bidding war between Sony and Paramount for The Dictator so I imagine when he's pitching his next film there'll be another bidding war. IndustriousAngel
The Dictator is showing some strength in Germany, after a comparatively small drop last weekend is looks like a strong 15% drop this weekend, it will end with far more admissions than Bruno and should reach Borat's numbers. Heretic
The Dictator, for some legal issues, has been dropped from all ODEON cinemas (biggest chain) in the UK this weekend. So basically, it's run has been slaughtered. It could have been a massive success, but the weather last week, and now this hasn't given it a chance at all.
