Right, which is why it's not good during the early dates when it's crucial to know more about the person you're talking to.

yall gonna sit around talking about bluray covers and how ur mom wont let you get a fast food job?

It's good to have something to stimulate conversation early on, silly

BLACK PANTHER (Marvel/Disney) is now in competition only with the loftiest movie hits.  According to preliminary numbers at Deadline, its 2nd Friday was $28.4M (down 63% from last week), behind just The Avengers‘ $29.2M in the Marvel universe (down 64% from its own opening day), as well as The Force Awakens ($49.3M, down 58%) and Jurassic World ($29.1M, down 65%) outside it.  It should have a $100M 2nd weekend, also behind only those 3 blockbusters, and within reach of Avengers ($103.1M) and Jurassic ($106.6M).  It seems to be headed for at least $575M in the US, and if it can stay on pace with Avengers and Jurassic, the total would be more like $625M+.  Barring an overseas collapse and failure in China when it opens there 2 weeks from now, it should be on its way to a $1B worldwide total, with plenty of potential upside beyond that.

All time leaders in Second Friday Box Office Numbers:

The Force Awakens 49.3

The Avengers 29.2

Jurassic World 29.1

Black Panther 28.4

Second Weekend Box Office Possibilities Within Reach:

Jurassic World 106.6

Avengers 103.1

Black Panther TBD

First MCU movie to (probably?) hit a billion without Iron Man.

I don't think I'd take a girl to the movies until the fourth or fifth date. That's gotta be lame as hell for earlier dates when you're trying to know each other.

That's why you pick a lame ass looking movie

Aw, once a girl says “yes” to a date, she pretty much already made it clear she likes him. So he doesn’t need a movie to break the ice. Just talk about silly shit you know she likes. Wait. Pff. I keep forgetting this a hypothetical date. WHEN THE TIME COMES just take the girl out somewhere nice for drinks and fingerfood so that she can escape quickly if she decides you’re boring as shit. If the date goes well, you can always suggest to grab dinner somewhere.

No movies.

Movies on the first date are for middle schoolers.

And you will pay for everydamn date until Jesus comes.

3..) Peter Rabbit (SONY), 3,707 theaters (-18)  / $2.7M Fri (-33%) /3-day: $11.3M (-35%) /Total: $70M/Wk 3

For a family movie, that's a really good hold coming off the holiday weekend...with Fifty Shades, we've now got 2 more likely than not $100M non-Disney grossers to go with Black Panther to start the year...box office is looking up this month:)...

Surprisingly it’s Sony that’s having a good start to the year.

What does she like, what would be fun for her

But buddy you got several mountains of insecurities you gotta work through before you're there
