I wasn't particularly a fan of Beyond the Black Rainbow, but its striking visual style clearly caught the attention of a small but vocal fanbase. However, this looks like it could be a memorably wild trip through a demented and surreal horror landscape. Box office prospects are obviously not good as this is not going to cater to a general audience. I'm in love with this movie already. It has shades of Neon demon, Hellraiser, Cobra (his dad's film with Sly) and even a Turkish horror film called Baskin. So I am definitely intrigued.
