Wednesday Numbers from Asagard 2: JW2 11.4, I2 9.4, The Purge 9.2 (we think..cryptic post by AS2)

Independence Day film 1996. One of my favorite movie going experience when I was a kid. I was 9 years old when it came out. I remember seeing long lines outside the old theater we used to go to in the west side of town where I grew up. It closed several years ago, but this place used to be place to go to see movies a long with an old AMC theater(still around, but just does dollar movies now). The first movie I truly remember having marketing all over the place. Still an enjoyable movie all these years later.

 

ID2 unfortunately was a giant toilet-clogger.

Obviously higher the better for a ultra wide release, but 3,800 is still quite the footprint, that Kong Skull Island type of release, a bit over Jumanji.

WW didn't break out anywhere near the level of JW. I think there's room WW2 to at least match WW's totals DOM and OS. Probably even, if well received, go a up a tick.
