American Dragons: Darkness Rising @Xillix

 

Another sequel that improves upon its predecessor. The Dragon tests that Jake has to go through are really interesting and the action all around is very well done. Wish Rose had a bit more to do in this film though.

I mean Jack Black's in it so 🤷‍♂️. This was a very inventive and funny comedy with a great performance from Robert Downey, Jr.

It's always fun to see a stop-motion animated film just to see all the craft that went into making it. On its own, this is a pretty entertaining film in its own right. Not the best animated film but its a pretty damn good time at the movies.

Silent Hill: Restless Dreams @Xillix

 

While I didn't find it as compelling as the first film, I still really enjoyed this sequel. It's still creepy af, filled with some great atmosphere and some really tense moments of suspense that really got me at a few points.
