zackzack
Doesn't matter. Pixar movies are always directed by a team.
A Marvel Fanboy
John Lasseter is ruining Pixar!!! :/ That's what I have been sensing for a while.
Olive
So what's Bob's next project?
Spidey Freak
Pixar's current curve reminds me SO MUCH of Disney Renaissance fall slowly starting from Pocahontas and ending with utter shit like Chicken Little and Home on the Range. Unlike Pixar though, Disney Animation actually looks like it is steadily rising again with Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Wreck-It-Ralph and now the epic looking Frozen and Big Hero 6 on the horizon! A Marvel Fanboy
Pixar have too many directors and too less projects.

kayumanggi
It's just a rumor. Disney and Pixar should have denied it by now. No?
The Futurist
I really don't know what it means to change a director on a CGI movie this late into production. Those movies take 4, 5 years to make. I don't know what you can change in 9 months in a movie like this.
Spidey Freak
When was Brenda Chapman bumped from Brave? What changes did her successor make? That should give us an idea of the affect a director change on such a film can make.
kayumanggi
The thing is, Peterson is one of Pixar's best. We're not even sure if he's still a part of Pixar.

Jandrew
I feel like and I'm sure that I'm the only person thats more excited for the new Scooby Doo animated movie than for TGD and/or Dragon 2.

Blankments
If Peterson is off, all my anticipation is gone. Both the Pixar movies that have changed so close to production (Cars 2 and Brave) I've strongly hated. All my faith is gone in this... Founder / Operator Shawn Robbins Posted August 27, 2013 Founder / Operator Share Posted August 27, 2013 I'm still really looking forward to this, but trouble in director's land has definitely taken it off my "dark horse to win summer 2014" list for the foreseeable future.

That title belongs to GOTG. Edited August 27, 2013 by Neo
Goffe
When was Brenda Chapman bumped from Brave? What changes did her successor make? in a interview, she said that Merida was less girly in her version (without make-up, etc)
