MrPink
I would really like to see the grandmother get nominated for an Oscar, she was absolutely wonderful, in addition to Awkwafina

I was really impressed and amazed at how universal the themes and characters in this movie were.
JB33
I wish this was coming to where I'm currently at (Kamloops, BC) but it won't. I'd really, really like to see this.
The Panda
Phenomenonal film. One of the first films I’ve tested up in quite a few years. The ensemble overall is fantastic, and Awkwafina gives a terrific performance. It’s a delicate and nuanced film, that hits home universal and relevant themes. An A+ from me (Last time I gave one was 2017 I think)
rjones1325
Lulu Wang’s The Farewell is an incredible mature outlook on family tradition that is thought-provoking, relative, and most of all personal, which are the best attributes that makes a filmmaker an amazing storyteller while providing a star-turning performance by Awkwafina.

Nice. Sounds like Awkwafina is about to go big. By the way, still the one negative review (out of 211 total reviews) on RT from Martha K. Baker of KDHX St. Louis. 99% RT score and 88% verified audience score.
MovieMan89
Saw this a week or so ago, and while my initial reaction was that it was fine but definitely way overpraised, I have to admit the performances and themes have really stuck with me since. Definitely a subtle knife of a film.

Cmasterclay
Elite movie, the last five minutes of this broke me in half. I didn't love it as much as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood while watching it but I have thought about it more since, and more than most movies. Really excellent. JB33
Eff me, all I'm hearing are fantastic reactions to this film. Really wish it was showing somewhere near me. Ah well, guess this is one I'll have to wait for on digital.

Darth Lehnsherr
As both someone who is an Asian immigrant and someone who had just lost their Grandfather a couple of weeks ago and Grandma two years ago this was a much needed cathartic experience for me honestly.
