BOT's TOP 100 Film Scores: The Fourth Will Be With You, Always (Submissions Closed)

Recommended Posts

For my favorite scores, it's usually because they synthesized with the movie and became inextricably tied in my mind. So a list of top scores, for me, has a lot in common with my top movies. I also believe a score can be hugely elevated by a single transformational track or motif in the movie.

Sorry to all the classic movies I haven't seen yet. Here's a link to my Pinterest board containing representative songs of everything on my list.

Should The Godfather be disqualified on the same ground as the Academy Awards disqualified it?

It was not DQ'd from prior rounds so I'm not going to change things up suddenly.

Stuff like that which may be a judgment call I leave to the listmaker's discretion. As opposed to obvious DQs like say most Tarantino films
