If Shazam has a drop that small it'd be incredible.

This weekend CM made 200k more than the weekend forecast from Shawn, so another 200k maybe over the forecast.

Thanks for this.

Interesting. For some reason I had forecast the holdovers being stronger by the time Endgame rolled around) In reality, Endgame itself has a small shot at over $300M on opening weekend and all other weekend grosses will be 7 digits. The weekend box office share number for Endgame is going to be insane! Avengers: Age of Ultron still holds the record in this regard at 84.5%, just edging out the 84.4% of Avengers: Infinity WarThe Avengers is 4th on the list (83.1%). In third is Spider-Man 3 (83.3%).

What's the lesson here? Avengers absolutely dominates at the domestic box office. Earth shattering, I know.

Not a lot of ratings (270), but that one has only 4.6/10 at IMDb.

If that's later on still the rating, it might be one of the bigger differences between first 'fan-rush' reactions (not of a franchise, but maybe for the belief, or involved people???) and IMDb rating

edit: only mentioned it, bcs I think its seldom to see a difference that big, might be bias against the movie is a possibility too

Don't know if I'd read too much into the IMDb rating given that type of distribution. Seems too extreme to be a natural result of the movie

looks strangley familiar. See CMs early ratings at IMDb, started with a similar low rating (or worse,  would have to look up the exact rating  then)

Could end with a 7/10 too (they still try to get CM down, at RT way more successful, not that the heat of the focus is no longer there RT seems not to care anymore)

I hope for all movies sake they find a solution were only ppl who actually have a ticket (includes 'guests' of a ticket buyer) can rate till its released per streaming service or HV or... too
