I think King has enough muscle that he could pretty much  see anything made from one of his novels in advance.

But, yes, Kind has been known to backtrack on endorsements of his film.

Yeh I get that, of course, I meant more if they were planning to scrap it what kind of state is it in/would they be allowed to show it to anyone.

Yes, being on the shelf for so long is almost never a good sign.

The Disrect to Streaming/VOD has been on the cards fo rthis for a long time.

Can't balme the studio, given how much theatrical distrubtion costs nowdays.
