SchumacherFTW
Think I'm gonna go see it on Sunday evening at Odeon West End in Leicester Square. Never been before. It's one of my ambitions to go to all of the Leicester Square cinemas. So far i've been to OLS and Cineworld Shaftesbury Avenue.

SchumacherFTW
Really wanna see Hunger Games in OLS. And Hobbit at BFI. I'd do it otherway around. Got to be Catching Fire at the BFI, and Hobbit would be cool in HFR at OLS.

Hobbit won't be HFR at BFI so I agree OLS is probably best. I've done IMAX but never OLS, would be good to go for one time only.
Heretic
Hmmm yeah, I've never tried HFR yet so maybe it's worth a go...

It's something that is good to experience, even if it's just to cast your own opinion. I thought it was great in An Unexpected Journey, but if I remember rightly, Alfred HATED it. Please do read through the first edition of "Box office fact or fiction" featuring Tarzan and Rukaio, it is an attempt to have a running feature at the forums. HFR took a little while to get used but I thought it worked on The Hobbit, will be interesting if they've refined it for DoS.

keysersoze123
So its dropping hard in europe(except russia where it kind of expanded) while asia is showing some legs. Irony for sure. In fact impact on OS weekend will be worse as we will be going from 5-day weekend to 3-day weekend. So it should be like 70% drop.
Heretic
That's more than a 100% increase for Gravity on Friday. Very good. It'll be over £5m opening for sure.Kinda meh for Thor. 3 day vs 3 day drop will be below 50% though, but with CF soon, it's gonna be dropping hard. £25m is probably gone. Hatebox
I saw Philomena because I'm a fan of Coogan, and enjoyed it. It's middlebrow enough to play to everyone.
Heretic
Pre-sales for tonight for Gravity are looking stronger than yesterday, and day business will be up too. Should get quite close to £2m, and I don't see less than £1.7m. Thor looks quite busy this afternoon, should be a big Saturday bump from yesterday, as it was half term last week.
zackzack
GRAVITY is predicted to do more than WWZ's $6.9M Very nice number. A pretty cool counterprogramming against the teeny CF and now that THOR 2 is dropping hard.
