Jonwo
There hasn't been a comedy out since 21 Jump Street so I think there is an audience for APR. I've seen a few ads around town so it's definetly been promoted but Avengers will be number 1 again with a 50-60% drop.
Heretic
Yeah that sounds reasonable enough. I think £35m is the minimum for TA right now. Could get over £40m if it does open near £14m. That's $65m.
Robertron
Wow. Utterly insane the world over!Whoever thought that combining all of the popular superheroes would flop, is an utter moron.

RthDeadWov
Shows are selling out everywhere tonight. Late night shows are really full as-well, much more so than yesterday. Should easily get above £3m today, which means at least $4.9m.Fri will be around $gbp3.
Heretic
That's insane!A $5.55m Friday, or there-abouts.Saturday could be over £4m, meaning $6.5m at the least. Maybe nearer £4.5m if Friday was able jump that much. ($7.3m)That would put it at at $16-17m in 3 days. Looks like £13m will be the minimum now, 4 days. Heretic
Off current topic, but another thing VERY unusual about Prometheus's advance sales is that they're also doing midnight shows (which have even sold some tickets, more than a month out). My cinema has 2 of them, and they are also already selling tickets for late night shows at 23:00 too.Pre-sales are really strong too for an original movie. The 22:30 IMAX show on Friday has already sold like 1/4 of the tickets. This could be very big. Edited April 28, 2012 by Heretic

Heretic
Definitely not Avengers numbers... But it could open to over £6m and do maybe £20-25m, which is $32-40m.

Heretic
The Avengers is looking very strong today.Yesterday was obviously a school/work day, so business during the day can't have been amazing. Today though, it is. Afternoon shows are looking full and tonight should match Friday's night business.
