Heretic
Probably something like that. Number 2, 3 and 4 of the year are all going to be extremely close to eachother.

Fullbuster
The UK market could be bigger than the French market this year, impressive.
lab276
The UK market could be bigger than the French market this year, impressive. Not possible, France will make it over 200m, The UK will be lucky to reach 180m.
Heretic
We'll likely end up with 4 $80m+ movies now, with one of them being the first ever film to break the £100m mark. It's been a fantastic year. I don't think next year will be quite as strong, but we'll see.
Fullbuster
Not possible, France will make it over 200m, The UK will be lucky to reach 180m.I just talk about the gross, not admissions. And 200m admissions isn't a sure thing yet for France, it could be slightly lower. Always possible, but I doubt it.

PhilipJ2001
Amazing to think that Skyfall accounts for nearly 10% of the whole UK box office for the year
JCS
UK is over 1.1b and up 3% on LYAmazing year so far, best in a long time. And with Euro 2012 and Olympics that make it more astonishing!
htall90
Olympics help due to the feel good factor it created as people have been spending more as they believe we are out of the recessionn how wrong they are unfortunately. 2013 could have a big drop i fear. Jonwo
Some months were weaker than others like March and April which were weak as was September and June suffered due to the football and January, May and August were down from last year too. The stand out month was definetly October with three strong performers in Taken 2, Madagascar 3 and Skyfall.I think 2013 will still be a solid year for films but I imagine there won't be a film that breaks £50m apart from The Hobbit pt 2.
