Some great holds.

Garfields previews not being much more than IF’s is a surprise. Unless that was only one day instead of IF’s 2?

Weak start for IF, even including previews, but maybe it can leg it out to a decent total.

Happy for Civil War and Challengers.

Cinema counts:

Furiosa 715

Garfield 662

Trainspotting 427

The Present 151
Thalavan 120

Furiosa is 3rd widest of the year behind Back to Black & Dune 2. Fury Road was in 546.

Flopiosa looking very slow to me

Is there any chance of it to open in second behind Garfield at the U.K. box office?

Garfield will be #4 on Friday behind If (3rd), Apes (2nd) and Furiosa (1st)

Furiosa looks like it will have a lower opening Friday than Apes or Fall Guy did

Wow so Garfield will need really good walk ups for Saturday I guess

Garfield's play is the weekdays next week while the kids are off. The weekend will be what it is, but that's where the money comes in.

To be fair to Leoh here, Garfield opening under If’s second Friday is still shit though.

Furiosa was busy at my showing last night, but it’ll of course be frontloaded.

Completely anecdotal, but when I saw Furiosa yesterday afternoon a couple walked up to ticket machine. About 30 seconds later they walked away and I overheard the guy saying "I dunno I really thought something good would be on".

There seems to be a real indifference or even ignorance to what is playing right now. The guy even sorta recognised Mad Max, but there was no attempt to quickly Google reviews for that or anything else.

Looking like another bad day for everything today. Can't even blame the weather this weekend. UK cinemas are really struggling :(

Could the FA cup final had an negative impact aswell?
