SchumacherFTW
I have a sell out for SUNDAY at my local cineworld. Should be a good hold on Sunday.
Heretic
It'll probably drop less than 20% from Saturday. The fact it has half term will also soften it.
JCS
Well. Just saw Skyfall. Damn amazing film, close tie for best film of 2012 so far.Bond is back!
JCS
Also, I went to a 2:25 showing for Skyfall and it was packed, almost full! Incredible for Friday afternoon when everyone has work/school...etc and is generally a 'dead' time at the cinema!
Jonwo
Bond is pretty much the only big British film franchise now that Harry Potter has finished. There have been successful British films this year like The Woman in Black, War Horse and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel but last year was a great year for British films with Potter, The King's Speech, The Inbetweeners, Johnny English Reborn etc. I hope that the upcoming Richard Curtis film About Time is good and successful but I doubt it'll hit the heights of Four Weddings, Notting Hill, Love Actually, Bridget Jones etc

Heretic
My cinema has sold out every single showing since 18:30. 22:30 showing just starting is also sold out, and the 23:30 showing on the biggest screen is filling up.
SchumacherFTW
Still wish I could go, but after a difficult day i'm probably having a better time watching Tron: Legacy again really. Don't want to have stuff on my mind during my first showing, that's what ruined Lincoln vamp hunter for me.

Heretic
Great! Looks like it'll get the 2nd biggest opening of all time. Tomorrow should be even bigger than today.

Heretic
I would have thought a bit more than that...I can't see how it didn't beat BD1...I'm hoping it can hit the £7m mark tomorrow.

The Toymaker
Heretic's sheep OD prediction: £7mEstimated OD: £5.9m :rofl:I guess it doesn't pay to be a sheep. Oh, and I'm not saying anything regarding the "£18m" figure. You said that £20m was on the cards. Now it's £18m. lol. SchumacherFTW
No midnights probably stopped it from getting 2nd place OD, but still a good launch. It's looking very good in cinemas up to the midlands, Cheltenham is king at the moment with 19 shows and 11 of them already sold out!
