2011 was the 2nd most attended year since 2004 in the UK. DH2 would have been a big boost, although, July 2011 was significantly down on previous years. It was actually August last year which was very strong compared to previous years. This year could beat that with TDKR and The Hobbit, but it'll be tough.http://www.cinemauk.org.uk/ukcinemasector/admissions/monthlyukcinemaadmissions2004-2011/

Weekend Uk easily #1 only be around 20% drop, its 3 times Underworld opening @ #2, #3 SH & #4 Iron Lady #3-4 are almost neck and neck with Underworld interesting to see finals, #5 sitter (wl1), #6 Haywire(wk1)

That is just fantastic for WH.. If it get lots of oscar noms it could take off..

Glad to see SH still hanging on

It's a critically acclaimed film that isn't british. Then again, I think the cinema's pandering the god's waiting room crowd of the town, as we got the artist last week too.

I think it will do great in the UK..

my two screener was offered a print of Decendants on release but we couldn't fit it in so have taken it second week.i say print when of course it's actually a hard drive now!

This will be a leggy film, so its not that important Philip..It would have been a little tougher if it were a Twillight movie :)
