Still puzzled about why the MdDonald' Merchandising campaign went on instead of being delayed to November. Mickey D's..at leas tin the US..has the usual tie in displays for "THe Marvels". You think when they moved to Novermber, they would have moved the Mrechainide campaign to November as well.

It's very likely the contract is locked in advance.

I know, but seems to me that everybody, including Mickey D, would have benefited from moving the merchandise campaign to November.

Oh definitely not, a lot of that stuff is unmovable. They literally had a press release to announce a new character in What If because the season 2 merch released early and people asked "hey who the fuck is this?"

 

X-Men 97 too, it was supposed to release this fall so now there's X-Men merch everywhere.

No, I wasn't saying the Loki finale releasing at the same date would be the only reason this movie could doom. I've already given multiple reasons on this and other threads why the Marvels could underperform or flop, and I don't want to repeat those. But if they connect this movie with the Loki finale storyline, then my prediction is that it would do at least 400m and could go up to 600m.
